A Bit About Me

What makes me, me?

My name is Karina Mireya. I use they and she pronouns. I have loved photography since long before I have ever picked a camera. I snapped pictures to remember the moment I was in: the feelings it brought up, the people I was with, the smiles, the pain, and everything in between.

Today, I'm a digital strategist and freelance photographer organizing in Chicago.

Some more about me: I love biking. I'm the youngest of three children. My family is from Mexico City, Mexico. I have called the southwest side of Chicago home for my entire life. I'm naturally clumsy. I love to make people laugh. I'm also a 23 year old learning how to navigate their 20s. Thanks for coming on my journey.
